PG&E Brick Buildings
2009
Project Scope
Replace existing chain-link and lathe fence with new, waterfront style brick wall.
Replace existing chain-link and lathe fence on the 2nd Street side of lot with New, Waterfront style brick wall, including a 5 sectioned concrete relief mural depicting the historical and present use of the Jack London District. Possible mural subjects could include businesses involved in industry and commerce, such as PG&E, the Port Of Oakland, Union Pacific Railroad, Amtrak, Cost Plus Imports, and the Jack London Produce District.

We’ll be adding a blog soon that will be updated as this project moves along. At this point, we’re attending City Council meetings, and talking to people involved with PG&E, various non-profit and City organizations, and others involved in the Jack London District. We’ll also be adding a list of supporters, where you or your business can be added.
